KeyStore’s new marketing campaign is themed ‘We’ll Support You Ever More!’
The new community campaign has been created to tie in with communities around Keystore’s 160 shops across Scotland.
Todholm Primary School in Paisley applied for the chance to get funding towards their plan to create a Community Café aimed at helping to strengthen relationships within the local community and develop children’s cooking and business skills. As part of this, they plan to run an outreach programme where children from the school will go out and visit those in their community who are unable to visit their Community Café.
The Community Café also aims to educate children in food technology, through creating a recipe book which will feature health guide links and Fairtrade produce. This will result in the school holding a Gala evening where the pupils will share what they learn with their families, cooking and serving up the various recipes.
To support this, Keystore gifted Todholm Primary School the sum of £300 with Ian McDonald, the Sales Director of Keystore explaining the importance of supporting such initiatives:
Our We’ll Support You Ever More! campaign is all about making a difference in local communities. As a Scottish family Company we are proud of our Scottish roots and we are proud to support initiatives across Scotland. This initiative that the pupils of the Global Citizenship Committee, Health Committee and Fairtrade Committee came up with themselves is a fantastic way of joining the community together. We are delighted to sponsor their cafe for its first year.
Mrs Lynne McGinn, the Head teacher at Todholm Primary offered her thanks on behalf of the School:
The children and staff are delighted and very appreciative of the £300 funding, gifted by Keystore. The money will be a key component to the success of Todholm Tearooms and it is wonderful that this extremely generous donation will benefit the local Community.
